During old car rallies the accuracy of the driver and the navigator is tested and not how fast the car can go. Speedometers, odometers and rev. counters are sealed and replaced by stop watches and clues en route.
Club members meet socially on the first Wednesday of every month .
The Wednesday evening program always includes something interesting , eg. talks, demonstrations and advice on restoration , etc. There is always an interesting car or motorcycle parked in the clubhouse.
The club also boasts a very active program of social outings / get togethers every second Sunday of the month which are arranged for the whole family to enjoy. This takes the form of a display with a theme, fun run or interesting activity of some kind. This provides an opportunity to drive and enjoy your old car. Non- members or members from other clubs are always welcome at our meetings. Our second Sunday program is normally organised by different club members --- for club members. It is normally a bring and braai, the club bar is open, prizes awarded and fun is had by the whole family and friends and a lovely opportunity to get to know each other..
Join in the fun. Come to share and contribute. Our club house is at the dead-end of Keuning Street, off Watermeyer street in Silverton (around the corner from and behind the Pioneer museum and fire brigade).
From the N4 Witbank highway it can easily be reached by taking the Watermeyer street off ramp. Proceed north for approximately 2.5 km before turning left into Keuning street.
